General Information

The nearest ATM is located at the Erste Bank branch in our hotel.

Our hotel is located in the city center, so K&H Bank, OTP Bank, and MKB Bank are all within easy walking distance, and there is also a Unicredit ATM in the department store building directly across from our hotel.

Includes a comforter and two pillows of different sizes. Bamboo and down pillows are available upon request.

Please contact the front desk (dial “0” from your room phone) regarding any requests for additional bedding beyond what is provided in your room; you can also let our front desk staff know if you would like these items. At our hotel, we automatically change the bed linens after 3 nights, but we can also do so for you as part of our daily housekeeping service upon request.

Our hotel accepts the following types of cards: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Cirrus/Maestro, JCB, and American Express. We also accept OTP SZÉP and K&H Szép cards (for lodging, dining, and leisure activities).

Your room will be available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival. In case of early arrival and/or late departure, please contact the front desk. Depending on availability, we will accommodate your request for an additional fee.

The room can be reserved Monday through Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Check-out is available on the day of departure between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Extended stays in the room are only available for an additional fee. If you choose this service, you may stay in the room until 2:00 p.m. Please arrange this in advance with our front desk staff in person or by calling extension 0.

Our hotel has a video surveillance and recording system in operation.

On the -1 level of the hotel, there is an automatic shoe-cleaning machine located next to the public restrooms.

The entire premises of Hotel Szatmári*** Superior are non-smoking! Smoking is permitted only in the designated area opposite the hotel’s main entrance. Please smoke only in the designated area and comply with all applicable laws! Thank you for your understanding! If the competent authority imposes a fine on the hotel operator pursuant to applicable law due to the unlawful conduct of any guest or person on the hotel premises, the operator reserves the right to pass on the amount of the fine to the person responsible for the unlawful conduct or to demand payment from that person. If, during daily housekeeping, our staff detects clear and verifiable signs of smoking in the room (a strong smell of smoke in the room, cigarette butts in the room, bathroom, toilet, or balcony), we will charge 100,000 Ft to your room bill under the heading “smoke removal”!

In accordance with European standards, our hotel provides 220V/50Hz alternating current (AC). Our front desk staff can provide adapters for devices that use different standards.

In every room at our hotel, the temperature can be adjusted individually using the wall-mounted thermostat and the thermostatic valves on the radiators.

Every bathroom shower is equipped with a wall-mounted dispenser containing shower gel suitable for washing your face, body, and hair. There is also a small bottle of body lotion and a vanity set next to the sink. At our hotel’s front desk, you can usually settle your room bill upon departure in cash (HUF, EUR) or by credit card. Upon request, you may also pay your room bill in advance during your stay or even upon arrival. If you consume items from the minibar, please settle the bill upon departure. Please contact our receptionist at extension “0.” Our hotel accepts cash, SZÉP Cards (OTP, K&H), advance bank transfers, and credit cards.

For cash payments, we accept HUF and EUR. We accept the following bank and credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Cirrus/Maestro, JCB, and American Express.

Our hotel also has a contract with OTP BANK. When making a payment, you can use any of the accommodation, dining, or leisure accounts.

The tourist tax cannot be paid with a Szép Card.

The hotel does not offer currency exchange services.

The in-room safe is available free of charge. Please read the enclosed information sheet carefully. We are not responsible for any valuables left in the room!

Housekeeping is provided daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the outside of your door handle, our staff will skip cleaning your room that day. Please let the front desk know if you have any special cleaning requests!

If you have lost something, please contact our front desk staff in person or by dialing “0.” We will hold lost items until December 31 of the current year; we can only return them or mail them to you if you submit a written request and agree to cover the return shipping costs.

Every room is equipped with a smart TV, which you can use for free. Turn on the TV with a single, brief press of a button. After turning it on, please wait 5–10 seconds for the TV channels to load!

The gas station closest to our hotel is the MOL station, located at 2 Jásztelki út. If you need assistance, please ask our front desk staff.

You can charge your electric car in the hotel's backyard; the cost is 8,000 Ft per charge.

Towels can be replaced daily if you clearly indicate this to our housekeeping staff after use (by placing the towel on the floor). Please help us operate our hotel in an environmentally friendly manner by requesting a replacement only when you deem it absolutely necessary!

Our reception staff is happy to assist you. We also provide a shuttle service to Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. Please contact them by dialing “0” or in person.

If the central audio alarm sounds in your room, leave the room immediately! Do not use the elevator, as it automatically shuts down in the event of a fire. Please read the fire safety regulations and review the evacuation route posted on your room door. If you notice a fire at any time, notify the front desk immediately either in person or by dialing extension 0!

You can find the nearest emergency exit by following the instructions posted on the door of the room.

Dear Guests!

For your safety and that of our hotel, we kindly ask that you observe the following guidelines.

  • Guests arriving by car may park their vehicles in the designated parking lot in front of the hotel or in the enclosed parking lot behind the building.
  • Any activity that could cause a fire or explosion is prohibited in the hotel rooms and common areas.
  • It is prohibited to bring pyrotechnic materials, devices, flammable liquids, or any other substances that could cause a fire or explosion into the hotel’s rooms or common areas.
  • Smoking is prohibited in the elevator, hallways, stairwells, rooms, and all common areas! Every room is equipped with an active smoke detector. Smoking is permitted only in the area marked with a sign opposite the main entrance.
  • It is prohibited to place—or even discard—burning tobacco products or matches in places where they could cause a fire or explosion. Furthermore, it is prohibited to empty the contents of an ashtray that is still smoldering into a trash can.
  • It is prohibited to use coffee makers, space heaters, or any other devices that generate high heat in the rooms or on the balconies attached to the rooms.
  • Ironing at the hotel may only be performed by a staff member designated by the front desk in the designated, safe area.
  • Electrical appliances (e.g., televisions) should be turned off when not in use. Other electrical devices (curling irons, electric razors, hair dryers) should be unplugged from the outlet.
  • It is prohibited to place decorative items made of flammable materials on light fixtures, or to use candles or oil lamps.
  • During the heating season, do not place flammable materials, aerosols, nail polish, or nail polish remover (acetone) on radiators.

Anyone who notices a fire, an accident, or an imminent danger of either must report it to the front desk in person or by dialing extension 0 from their room phone. Even a fire that has already been extinguished must be reported without delay. The front desk alerts hotel guests by activating the fire alarm siren and through verbal announcements made by our staff.

  1. Evacuation of the hotel building should follow the shortest route, primarily via the corridors on each floor, down the stairwell, and out through the main entrance located at the front desk.

2. Escape routes are posted on the inside of the hotel room doors.

3. The elevator must not be used in the event of a fire; in such cases, the elevator automatically shuts down.

  • The rooms are classified as fire hazard class “D” (moderate fire hazard).
  • If you notice a fire in the rooms or in other areas of the building, please immediately alert the other guests by pressing the center button on the manual fire alarm located in the hallway and shouting “FIRE!”, and notify the front desk!
  • In the event of a fire, the power to the rooms must be shut off using the switches located in those rooms!
  • If possible, take any valuable personal belongings with you and leave the building via the evacuation route posted on the door!
  • If possible, begin extinguishing the fire using the fire extinguisher or fire hose located in the hallway, provided that, in your judgment, the fire can be extinguished in this manner.
  • If you have extinguished the fire, be sure to report it to the front desk!
  • Electrical equipment located in the rooms must be used in accordance with the operating instructions. If you are unsure how to use it, please ask the hotel staff for assistance!
  • When leaving the room, guests must unplug any electrical devices they have brought with them. When unplugging electrical devices from the outlets, care must be taken to ensure that the plug does not come out of the wall and, if possible, does not cause sparks!
  • If media devices or electrical equipment in the rooms malfunction or catch fire, they must first be unplugged from the electrical outlet—if possible—and, in the event of a fire, you must begin extinguishing the fire, sound the alarm, and notify the hotel staff.
  • It is strictly prohibited to store or use flammable liquids in hotel rooms—with the exception of beverages and cosmetics!
  • In the event of a fire, follow the advice and instructions of the staff when evacuating the building, and be sure to follow the instructions of the fire chief upon the arrival of the fire department!
  • Please remind everyone to stay calm while evacuating, as this will allow the building to be evacuated much more quickly.
  • If you are unable to leave the building, make sure to clear the room of smoke by opening the windows and sealing the door gaps!
  • If you are unable to leave the building, signal through the window and try to make contact with people outside so that rescue efforts can begin as soon as possible!
  • Prevent the fire from spreading into the room by spraying the door with water!
  • Protect yourself from smoke by holding a damp cloth over your mouth!
