The nearest ATM machine can be found at ERSTE Bank, located in our hotel. Szatmári Hotel is located in the city center which means nearby banks such as K&H Bank, OTP Bank, MKB Bank are within walking distance. Across from our hotel, a Unicredit Bank ATM is also available in the building of the department store.

A bathrobe can be requested at the reception, which we can provide to our guests over the age of 14 in sizes S-XXL. We will change your bathrobe free of charge every 3 days during your stay. Please indicate your request to our reception colleague.

A bedding set contains two duvets and two different-sized pillows. Bamboo and feather pillows are available upon special request. Please turn to reception (dial „0” on room phone) for any further request regarding bedding requirements in addition to the set in the room. In our hotel, we automatically change the sheets after 3 nights, but on request we can also do it for you as part of the daily cleaning.

If you have special needs, ask our reception colleagues at extension 0.

Breakfast time of the continental buffet: 07:00-10:00.

It is also possible to charge electric cars on the premises of our hotel (for an extra fee). For more information, please contact with our receptionist.

The room is at your service from 14:00 on the day of arrival. In case of early arrival and/or late departure, please contact the reception. Depending on availability, we will grant your request for an additional fee.

The room can be occupied on Monday to Saturday from 14:00 to 22:00 and on Sundays from 14:00 to 20:00. Check-out is possible between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

It is only possible to stay longer in the room for an extra charge. If you use this service, you can stay in the room until 14:00. Please discuss your request in advance with our reception colleagues in person or dial 0 on your room phone.

A baby bath, a baby bed that can be opened with mesh, a potty, a high chair, children’s bedding, and can be requested at the reception in person or by dialing extension “0” from the room phone. Highchairs available for children in the restaurant.

Cleaning is done every day between 08:00 and 16:00. If the “Do not disturb!” sign is hung on the door handle from outside our housekeeper colleagues skip the room on that day. Please indicate your special cleaning needs at the reception.

A conference room is available in our hotel. Ask our receptionist about the possibility and capacity of using this.

According to the European standards the S220V/50HZ alternating voltage (AC) is available in our hotel. The colleagues in the reception can provide conversion equipment for devices with other standards.

The elevator can only be operated with a valid room key card. Everyone uses the elevator only at their own risk, under 12 years of age can be used with parental supervision. The emergency bell may only be pressed in justified cases, in which case our receptionist will come to their aid.

Our hotel does not have a permanent masseuse. It is possible to indicate a request in advance at the reception. Our guest masseuse will come to our hotel by prior arrangement. Find out about currently available treatments at the reception or call extension “0” from your room phone.

During your stay, our housekeepers check consumption every morning. Consumption registered at the reception is charged to the room bill. The minibar is replenished every day. When leaving, please discuss the total consumption of the minibar with our receptionist and settle your bill.

The cost of the minibar beverages is not included in the room price.

Both our parking lot in front of the hotel and our larger closed parking lot behind the building (with a carplate recognition gate) can be used free of charge for guests of our hotel.

In most cases, you can settle your room bill at the reception of our hotel with cash (HUF, EUR) or bank card upon departure. Upon request, it is possible to settle the room bill in advance during your stay at the hotel, or even upon arrival. If you use the minibar, please pay for it when you leave. Look for our receptionist at extension “0”. In our hotel, you can pay by cash, SZÉP Card (OTP, K&H), advance payment and bank card.

In case of cash payment, we can accept HUF, EUR means of payment. You can pay with the following bank and credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Cirrus/Maestro, JCB, American Express. Our hotel also has a contract with the OTP and the K&H BANK service providers. When paying, all of the accommodation, hospitality and leisure pockets can be used. Tourism tax cannot be paid with SZÉP Card.

Currency exchange is not possible at the hotel.

The entire area of the Hotel Szatmari*** superior is non-smoking! Smoking is only allowed in the designated area opposite the hotel’s main entrance. Please smoke only in the designated place, observing the legal regulations! Thank you for your understanding! If the guests of the hotel is fined by the competent authority due to the unlawful behavior of any of our guests or persons staying on the hotel premises, the management reserves the right to transfer the amount of the fine to the person exhibiting the unlawful behavior, or to demand its payment. If, during the daily cleaning, our colleagues detect a clear and demonstrable sign of smoking in the room (strong smell of smoke in the room, cigarette butts in the room/bathroom/toilet/balcony), we charge 100,000 HUF to their room account under the title “smoke removal”!

There is a smart television in every room, which can be used free of charge. Turn on the television with a single, short button press. After switching on, please wait 5-10 seconds for the TV channels to load!

The shower in each bathroom is equipped with a wall-mounted dispenser in which the bath gel is suitable for washing the face, body and hair. There is also a small body lotion and Vanity Set next to the sink. In addition, if you have any other needs (toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, cosmetic cloth, other hygiene equipment, sewing kit), please contact our receptionist in person or by dialing extension “0” from the room phone. You can find one pair of slippers per person.

It is possible to change the towel daily, if you clearly indicate it to our maids after use (by throwing the towel on the floor). Please help our hotel operate in an environmentally friendly way, i.e. only request a replacement if you find it absolutely necessary!

There is a Roman Catholic and a Reformed church in our city. Regarding the order of the Mass, please contact our reception colleagues at extension 0.

If the central sound warning sounds in your room, leave the room immediately! Do not enter in the elevator, as it automatically shuts itself down in the event of a fire. Read the fire safety regulations and see the escape route posted on the door of your room. Any time a fire is detected, immediately notify the reception directly or on extension 0!

In order to protect you and our hotel from fire, we kindly ask you to observe the following regulations.

  • Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the parking lot in front of the hotel building or in the closed parking lot behind the building.
  • All activities that could cause fire or explosion are prohibited in the rooms and communal areas of the hotel.
  • It is forbidden to bring pyrotechnic materials, devices, flammable liquids or other substances that could cause fire or explosion into the rooms and public areas of the hotel.
  • Smoking is prohibited in the elevator, corridors, stairwells, rooms and all common areas! Every room has an active smoke alarm. Smoking may only take place in the area designated by the sign opposite the main entrance. It is forbidden to put burning tobacco products or matches in a place – or even throw them away – where they could cause a fire or explosion. Furthermore, it is forbidden to pour the contents of a still smoking ashtray into the trash.
  • It is forbidden to operate a coffee maker, radiator or any other device that produces particularly high heat in the rooms or on the balcony belonging to the room.
  • Ironing in the hotel can only be done by a colleague designated by the receptionist in the designated safe place.
  • Electrical equipment (e.g. television) must be switched off if it is not needed. Other electrical devices (iron, electric shaver, hair dryer) must be unplugged from the outlet 10.
  • It is forbidden to put decorative elements made of flammable materials on the lamps, and also to use candles and wicks.
  • During the heating period, it is forbidden to put flammable substances, sprays, nail polish, nail polish remover acetone on the heating elements.

Anyone who notices a fire, damage, or an immediate threat thereof must notify the reception in person or on the room phone by dialing extension 0. Fires that have already been extinguished must also be reported without delay. Hotel guests are alerted by the reception by turning on the fire alarm siren and our employees speak live.

  1. Leaving the hotel building takes the shortest route, primarily from the individual floors through the corridors, via the stairwell, through the main entrance at the reception.
  2. Escape routes are found on the inside of hotel room doors.
  3. In the event of a fire, it is forbidden to use the elevator, in which case the elevator automatically shuts itself down.

We thank you for your behavior and helpfulness in the interest of our common safety.

  • The fire hazard class of the rooms is “D” (moderately fire hazard).

  • If you detect a fire in the rooms or in other areas of the building, please alert the other guests by pressing the middle part of the hand-held fire alarm in the corridor, or by saying “THERE IS FIRE!” start shouting immediately and inform the reception!
    In the event of a fire, the rooms must be de-energized using the switches in the rooms!

  • If possible, take the valuables from your personal possessions and leave the building via the escape route posted on the door!

  • If possible, start extinguishing the fire with the fire extinguisher or fire hose located in the corridor, if it can be extinguished in this way.

  • In case you have extinguished the fire, be sure to notify the reception as well!

  • The electrical equipment placed in the premises must be used in accordance with the operating regulations. If you are not aware of this, ask the hotel staff for help!

  • When leaving the room, the electrical equipment brought by the guest must be disconnected. When removing electrical equipment from the sockets, make sure that the plug does not come out of the wall and, if possible, does not cause sparks!

  • In the rooms, media devices and electrical equipment fail or catch fire, they must first be disconnected from the electrical network, if possible, and in the event of a fire, the extinguishing and alarm systems must be started, and the hotel staff must be notified.

  • It is strictly forbidden to store or use flammable liquids in the hotel room – with the exception of beverages and cosmetics!

  • In the event of a fire, follow the advice and instructions of the staff when leaving the building, and be sure to follow the instructions of the fire department when the fire department arrives!

  • Draw attention to panic-free traffic, because this way it is much faster to evacuate the building.

  • If there is an obstacle to leaving the building, ensure that the room is smoke-free by opening the window and sealing the door gaps!

  • If there is an obstacle to leaving the building, give signals through the window, try to establish contact outside the building so that the rescue can begin as soon as possible!

  • Prevent the fire from entering the room by spraying the door with water!

  • Protect yourself from the smoke with a wet cloth in front of your mouth.
